As is common with new developments, the landscape around this Northeast Portland home was more a blank slate than an appealing yard. Our Habitat Garden crew delights at such an opportunity for total transformation!
What was sod and filler plants became a lush oasis of low-maintenance, native plants. Because the home sits on an exposed, high-traffic corner, we planted large arborvitae for privacy and installed a water feature to buffer the city noises. The result was a delightful Zen garden where the homeowners can relax, separated the surrounding urban environment.
